ELIE SAAB HAUTE COUTURE SPRING/SUMMER 2014

A breathtaking collection was featured live today by Elie Saab. This spring/summer 2014 Haute Couture was made to life through the inspiration of a highly renowned 19th century Dutch painter, Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema. A romantic floral fairytale-like theme had a wide colour palette spectrum ranging from soft pink, champagne, light blues, and purples to black. The silhouette was feminine with a focus on the empire waistline and flowing chiffon drapery. Here are a few photos featuring some of my favourite gowns (photo credit: here).
