Oscar de la Renta was a prominent award-winning fashion designer who had worked for Lanvin and Balmain, as well as his own fashion house. Even until his very last moments, he has worked hard to dress leading figures, from big name-celebrities to even royalty.
He was actually one of my few favourite fashion designers - he had this indescribable style with his designs that was always very simple, but yet extraordinary, elegant, and sophisticated.
Truly sad that he has passed, but happy to know that he did what loved to do until the end. I present some of my personal favourite past designs of his:

On October 20th, 2014, this great fashion icon passed away at the age of 82. Oscar, thanks for being one of my biggest inspiration in fashion. You will be greatly missed!
